MCSA Data Use Agreement
LONI | MCSA Data Use Agreement
Mayo Clinic Study of Aging is a longitudinal, population-based study of residents of Olmsted County, Minnesota. The long-term goals of the Mayo Clinic Study of Aging are to develop tools to predict and prevent cognitive decline and dementia, develop risk-prediction models for cognitive impairment, and conduct aging-related research to promote successful aging. The MCSA has curated a subset of de-identified imaging and clinical data suitable for a wide range of research uses, and these are broadly shared with the greater scientific community in order to maximize its scientific benefit. The terms and conditions for use of this shared data are provided below.
Qualified researchers interested in opportunities to obtain additional clinical, medical history, biomarker, or neuroimaging data, biofluids, or specimens, beyond those shared in this dataset, can also submit a request to the Mayo Clinic Study of Aging's executive committee via the linked data use application. Each request is reviewed to determine eligibility.

The MCSA is deeply grateful to all its participants for their selfless contributions to scientific research, and it is strongly committed to protecting their privacy.

Data used in preparation of this article were shared by the Mayo Clinic Study of Aging (MCSA) (https://www.mayo.edu/research/centers-programs/alzheimers-disease-research-center/research-activities/mayo-clinic-study-aging/overview). The investigators and staff of the MCSA contributed to producing the shared data, but they did not participate in this study's design, its analyses, or the writing of this publication. The MCSA ensures only the scientific integrity of the data that it shared, but they did not review this publication and not responsible for its content.
  • Published manuscripts must include the following statement in the funding support acknowledgements section:

This review is only intended to ensure that the above requirements are implemented correctly; it is not a scientific review. MCSA will maintain confidentiality of the manuscript. If the authors do not receive an approval within 30 days, they may proceed with the submission.
